This course will provide up-to-date information on the rapidly changing field of immunizations. Anticipated topics include influenza, pneumococcal conjugate, human papillomavirus, (HPV) and meningococcal vaccines.
Other emerging issues will be discussed, including the latest information from the June 2010 meeting of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices.
Presented by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and coordinated by the Hawaii State Department of Health Immunization Branch.
The Hawaii Immunization Coalition is a statewide, community-based organization working to ensure all of Hawaii's families are appropriately vaccinated against vaccine-preventable diseases.

The 2010 annual member dues for the Hawaii Immunization Coalition (HIC) is $10 per member. Members will receive immunization information and alerts via email and discounts to HIC workshops/seminars.
